Kitchen is large with enough equipment.

Kitchen is large with enough equipment. The terrace is nice and the bed is comfortable.

There are two hostels in the same name and it's confusing. In Google map the other one came up and I mistakenly visited them first. Also the area hostel located is not very safe. If you arrive at night, be careful with your belongings.

Hot water sometimes didnt work

Statf was friendly . Very close to everything . Bathrooms were nice and clean .

Hot water didnt work . Sometimes just worked for 2,3 minutes . Taking a shower was always a hassle.

La ubicación es genial, muy cerca del metro, y las personas que atienden muy amables.

Que no hubieran los suficientes interruptores para todas las personas que compartimos la habitación. Demás que el único que está en la habitación no está del todo bien, y el q si funciona se encuentra en el baño, así que tienes que dejar tus aparados cerca del lavamanos, que puede ser muy incómodo y peligroso.

La ubicación es exelente a una cuadra del metro y la limpieza de las camas muy bien.

Tienen una muy buena ubicación, exelente lugar el personal muy amable, muy limpio todo, las cobijas huelen muy bien, las camas super comodas lo unico que sugiero es que las literas las peguen a la pared por que al subir a la litera se muebe mucho creo que eso resulta incomo para quien esta descansando abajo, pero en general todo estuvo muy bien...

La atencion del personal, muy amables. La limpieza del lugar muy buena. La ubicacion muy buena cerca de la Plaza Constitucion.

Tuvimos problemas con el agua caliente en las duchas. Era fria o era super caliente. Un dia nos bañamos con agua fria porque no funcionaba la caldera.

Excelente ubicación, pero por las noches en caso de que haya demanda del servicio, se complica conciliar el sueño por el bullicio. Ello, pienso, dado que los sonidos se traspasan fácilmente por las paredes de tabla roca.

*AC worked well. *Spacious room. *Very clean all round. *Good kitchen facilities. * Huge common areas. *Quiet generally and close to the metro.

Very nice place, liked it alot.

Very nice staff, clean, nice kitchen and terrace. Supper comfortable location close to the zocalo plaza also right next the metro and bus to Xochimilco.

Not enough electric sockets in the rooms. Could use a better pillows, but not too bad.

Nice, basic rooms.

Nice, basic rooms. Only dorms and twin/ triple available. Didn't see double rooms. Comfortable beds with really pretty douvet. Cleaned daily. Loundry available for 100 pesos no matter the load. You get your things back the same day. Good, clean bathroom with water. Good location for getting to Zócalo (10 min walk or one metro stop). The neighborhood was safe in general. They have a good equipped kitchen you can use. Nice terrace to sit down with a drink.

When you check in, you need to sign rules of the hostel. One of them is that you will respect other guests and, in short, try not to be too loud at night. For the past couple of nights, other guests were really loud. Talking, banging on the door, running around until almost 4 am. The staff did nothing to ask them to keep it down. Not the best nights of sleep for me

Nice place nice people here.

Nice place nice people here. The staff helped me for printing the boarding pass and the day I left very early in the morning, the security guy stand with me till I go to the taxi ,protected us. Moved.

4 day stay in Hostal Zocalo

Great location, friendly staff and good bathroom. The terrace is also pretty cool if you want to hang out after a busy day. Everything is very well cleaned.

Quite loud in the morning at around 8 but usually only for a few minutes. And the rooms are not really sound proof at all.

I'd recommend it, if budget is your issue. also close to metro station.

That clients arriving a bit earlier can't be checked in immediately, especially when coming from far away in a long journey as it was my case. I had to wait until 3pm while I felt so tired and sleepy.
